The PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU is a universal control unit for the integration of custom accessories in automotive applications. For this purpose, it provides a CAN FD connection as well as a mix of analogue and digital I/Os. With its tough casing and two automotive connectors, it is designed for use in utility and heavy duty vehicles under harsh conditions.
PCAN-MicroMod FD products are configured with a free Windows® software. In addition to simply mapping I/Os to CAN IDs, function blocks for processing the data are also available. The configuration created on the computer is transferred via the CAN bus to the PCAN-MicroMod FD which then runs as an autonomous CAN node.
