New Team Member

Control Technologies UK Ltd is very pleased to announce that Stephen English MCGI has joined the company as Engineering Manager. Steve brings with him over 30 years of experience in both civilian and military roles, managing personnel and engineering systems. With a proven track record in managing change and continual improvement Steve is adept in designing, implementing and managing engineering systems.  His results have been recognized formally, at a high level, on multiple occasions.

Since leaving the military Steve has more recently been at the forefront of the Lithium battery industry, liaising with customers, globally, to specify, design, integrate and support the introduction of their technical solutions.  As an effective communicator, Steve has spent time designing and delivering technical training to many customers, worldwide.  His customer focused approach ensures that all projects are delivered and supported to the greatest satisfaction of the customer.

Steve’s primary responsibility at Control Technologies is the management of our On and Off-highway application engineering programs and the support of our world-wide client base. Steve is also the driving force behind our end-to-end Engineering and Quality Assurance Framework – ensuring high quality and process driven engineering across the board.

Another Addition to our Team!

Control Technologies UK is very pleased to announce that we have a new team member. Andy Barlow has joined our Applications Engineering team as a Design Engineer. Andy has many years’ experience designing and delivering complete end-to-end control solutions. His speciality is the design and development of electrical control solutions and hardware systems – including control panels, cable harnesses and electro-hydraulic control. Andy is an expert at taking client requirements and ideas and turning them into real-world solutions, using the best hardware for the job. Andy will complement our AE team by providing the hardware solution to our existing portfolio of software solutions.

CAN Data Loggers added to our product portfolio

Control Technologies UK Ltd is very pleased to announce that it is now the UK distributor for CSS Electronics and their range of CAN-bus data loggers.

CSS Electronics design and manufacture powerful CAN-bus analysers. The CLX000 range of products, now available in the UK through Control Technologies UK, combine stand-alone CAN loggers (8GB+) and real-time CAN interfaces. Already heavily used across a number of industries, including industrial, EVs, motorsports and automation, the CLX000 range offers a very flexible and capable CAN analysis solution. The series comes with an 8GB+ SD card memory (250M+ CAN messages) for recording data over long intervals. Our Team has grown!

Control Technologies UK continues to go from strength to strength with the addition of a dedicated Applications Engineer.

Matt Joy has joined the team fresh from the University of Sheffield where he successfully completed an MEng in Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering. Matt is a very accomplished embedded systems engineer, with a wide range of skills including control theory, system design, and software development.

Mark brings with him a wealth of technical experience in CAN-bus and distributed control systems, as well as project management and business development.
